It isn’t necessary to take both supplements simultaneously, although we strongly recommend it. Iodine and Selenium complement one another for advanced thyroid support (which is why we include both in our Thyroid Health Bundle).

Does this supplement contain selenomethionine?

Yes. Organic Mustard Seeds, our Selenium source, naturally contain selenomethionine as well.

How much selenium should I take?

The recommended dietary allowance of Selenium for adults can range from 55 to 200 mcg. Please consult your healthcare provider before adding Liquid Selenium to your supplement routine.

Is Selenium for hypoactive thyroid or hyperactive thyroid?

Selenium does not treat or address medical conditions like hypoactive or hyperactive thyroids. If you have been diagnosed with either condition, please consult your healthcare provider before using an Organic Selenium supplement.
